About

Climbing my dad’s towering book piles and rummaging through his art materials felt like embarking on great adventures. I would spend hours drawing and painting dreamy landscapes, sea creatures, and enchanted animals. These creations weren’t just art, they became my toys, gifts for my loved ones, and a bridge to the whimsical world I created for myself: a safe space ruled out by magic and fantasy.

Back then, picture books and animated movies were my absolute favourites — I fed myself with them. Thankfully, becoming an adult hasn’t changed that at all. I still get inspiration from great artists and their creations. You can easily find me curled up at home with a fantasy book or watching my favourite movies over and over again, sipping tea from huge cute mugs, cooking for my family and dear friends to the sound of old heartwarming songs. And,  of course, drawing whimsical-kind-of-magical pictures inspired by all these little joys.

Finding the connection with my childhood self through my work is one of the greatest delights of my life. I create for her and for humans of all ages who want to find a safe and warm space to run to sometimes.
